Crispy Bacon & Pea Salad

I am no salad fan but my mouth waters at the very thought of this salad!
My sister-in-law knows not to bother arriving at a family function without this treat! (I mean that in a loving way) :)
Adapted from and with thanks to Rebecca of Foodie with Family
Ingredients:

500g bacon, chopped into bits and fried until crispy
500g peas cooked and cooled
1 cup grated cheddar
A handful of chives sliced
¼ tin condensed milk
¼ cup mayonnaise
Salt & Black pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together & chill in the fridge until serving
Cook’s notes:
I mix the mayo and condensed milk together and sometimes add a little milk to thin it out before adding to the salad
